Gatton Bus Service takes delivery of new 61-Pax Daewoo/Chiron School Charter Bus |
Gatton Bus Service recently took delivery of there first Daewoo/Chiron 61-Pax School Bus.
Built to QLD Category 5 spec, the vehicle was fitted with 61-metro seats, heat/cool air-conditioning, tinted windows and luggage-bins.
This is Daewoo #4 for the Queensland operation joining three others, including one new low-floor based in Bowen NQ.

New 60-Pax Daewoo delivered to Keppel Coaches NQ |
Keppel Coaches based in Yeppoon NQ recently took delivery of a new 60-pax safety-belted Daewoo/Chiron.
The vehicle was specified with 60xTransport Seating 'Safe-T-Ride' seats with 3/2 seating chosen for the last three seat rows. The new Daewoo will be used on a daily school run and local charter work.
Owner Ben Moschioni and Dick White recently completed the delivery trip to Yeppoon that allowed for a great opportunity to complete a full product handover.
The Daewoo chassis was specified at 335hp and fitted with the Allison 6-Speed automatic transmission.

New Daewoo for Raida Enterprises - Nth QLD |
Raida Enterprises a small North Queensland school bus operator based in Ravenshoe, recently took delivery of a new 57-pax safety-belted Daewoo after the QBIC conference in Townsville.
Raida Enterprises plans to utilise the vehicle on the daily school run as well as local charter work. The vehicle was fitted with 57-belted seats and the standard list of Chiron school/charter bus options. The customer requested a all over-yellow paint scheme.
The customers choose Daewoo after undertaking a long evaluation process. This included considering numerous makes and models, and also involved talking to a number of other existing NQ Daewoo customers.
The vehicle was the operators first new Cat 5 bus funded through the Queensland Transport SchoolBus replacement scheme.

11m Midi Daewoo - In Production |
Building upon the popular 12.5m 57-61 pax Daewoo School/Charter bus package, we are pleased to announce that a newly released 11m version is now available.
The 11m is a shortened version of the same BH117L chassis and for existing Daewoo operators this means commonality of the same Daewoo running engine and running gear.
With the first Queensland 'Cat 4' vehicle currently in production at Chiron and due for July delivery, it allows Daewoo to offer another option in its product range, and in particular as great specification replacement vehicle in the 40-51 seat range..

Daewoo breaks into QLD Mining Market |
Ernest Henry Mine based near Cloncurry recently took delivery of there first 53-pax 'Mine-Spec' Daewoo.
Building upon the great success Daewoo has enjoyed in the Western Australian Mine sector, the new Daewoo will operate local mine transfers in a wide variety of operating conditions.
The 12.5m Daewoo/Chiron was fitted with 53-safety belted reclining seats and built with the std. 'Mine Spec' option kit including engine protection mesh, rear mudflap, alternator dust cover and other mine specific body options. A David Bright Bull-Bar was also fitted in Brisbane prior to delivery.
Dick White completed a full driver training session and workshop orientation to ensure the smooth introduction of the vehicle into the fleet.

Emersons NQ choose Hyundai |
Emerson Bus Company based in North Queensland recently took delivery of two-(2) Queensland 'Cat-4' 45-Pax School Buses.
Both vehicles were specified with Allison Automatic Transmission, 45-passenger seats, through luggage bus and air-conditioned.
The recently released Chiron CS100 was designed specifically for the Hyundai chassis to provide a perfect new fleet replacement option in this market.

New Daewoo Delivered to The Victory School Gympie |
The Victory School in Gympie recently took dilvery of a new 57-passenger safety-belted Daewoo/Chiron CS120.
The new school bus will be used on local school services bringing the students to and from the Tin Can Bay area.
The vehicle is fitted with underfloor bins, 2xTV/DVD units and is fully air-airconditioned.

The Good Shepherd Lutheran College Partners with Hyundai |
The Good Shepherd Lutheran College based on the Sunshine Coast recently choose Hyundai for there fleet-replacement needs.
The recently released Hyundai/Chiron safety belted vehicle package was chosen as it ticked all the right boxes. With 43-belted fixed coach seats, automatic transmission, heat/cool air-conditioning and full through bins the vehicle will be put to work on day charter and school trips..
The Chiron body was designed from the ground up specifically for the Hyundai chassis, to provide an attractive vehicle option in this market seqment.

Reynolds & Fogarty Bus Service Moree takes delivery of first Daewoo/NorthCoast Low-Floor |
In late February Reynolds and Fogarty Bus Service based in Moree took delivery of a new Daewoo Low Floor fitted with the first NorthCoast Bus and Coach body.
The vehicle will conduct high frequency town services around Moree NSW.
The vehicle was specified with 49-Vogel seats, single door, heat/cool air-conditioning and a TV/DVD system to provide promotional activities for the town and local area. The low-floor configuration will provide ease of access for all passengers. The vehicle is fitted with the ever-popular 305-hp Daewoo engine matched to a 5-speed Allison Automatic Transmission with 6-stage retarder.

Grafton Bus Co takes delivery of new 'Euro-5' 57-Pax School/Charter Bus |
Northland Coaches trading as Grafton Bus Company has recently taken delivery of there first new School/Charter Bus - a safety-belted 57-pax Daewoo/Chiron CS120.
The vehicle is the first Euro 5 Daewoo chassis delivered in Australia and is fitted with the 'new look' electronic dash and other upgrades.
We congratulate Alan and Janelle Hale on the new delivery. Pictured is Alan taking delivery with Dick White.
